ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

principle of academic integrity is taken very seriously and
violations
are treated gravely.
What does academic integrity mean in this course?
- When you are responsible for a task, you will perform that
task.
- When you rely on someone else’s work in an aspect of the
performance of that task, you will give full credit in the
proper,
accepted form.
- You will follow the announced policies regarding collaboration
on
homework and exams: You may work with others on homework, but
you must
write up your own assignment. You may not collaborate on
take-home
exams.
- Vigorous discussion and debate are encouraged in this course,
with the firm expectation that all aspects of the class will be
conducted with civility and respect for differing ideas,
perspectives,
and traditions.
If you have any doubts about the academic integrity policy, please
ask for guidance and clarification.

this course. Exams, homework solutions, and study aids will be
posted there. Please make sure your Blackboard email forwards to an
address you read regularly. On the My Blackboard screen,
choose
the My Settings link in the upper right-hand corner. Edit your
profile to set your email address.
